John Wright, owner of it'seeze Web Design Horsham, raised £1,400 for Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice when he did a wing walk with Skymax Wing Walkers at Damyns Hall Aerodrome in Upminster, Essex.
Originally scheduled for May 2020, the wing walk had to be re-scheduled three times, before finally taking place in July 2021.

John described the wing walk, which involved being strapped to a 1940s Boeing Stearman biplane, which performed steep turns and climbs while flying at speeds of up to 135mph, as 'exhilarating' and 'one of the most incredible things I have ever done'.

John decided on a wing walk when, as the outgoing Chairman of Bilingshurst & Horsham Chamber of Commerce (BHCC), he followed in the footsteps of previous Chairman Chris Cooper to raise funds for BHCC's nominated charity Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice.

John was delighted that the wing walk raised £1,400 for Chestnut Tree House.
