The Commonwealth Games are coming to Birmingham this summer, and it'seeze Web Design Horsham owner John Wright will be there.
No, he won't be competing in the Games!! But John will involved with the 'Commonwealth Collective' at as a Games Volunteer.

John was one of over 41,000 people to apply to become a volunteer for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and he was called for an interview in December 2021. When he hadn't heard anything by the end of February 2022, he assumed he hadn't been successful. But at the beginning of March he was delighted to receive an email confirming that he had been selected as a General Team Member for the Smithfield site - the venue that will host Basketball 3X3, Wheelchair Basketball 3X3 and Beach Volleyball, as well as being a festival site for the duration of the Games.

When we asked John what he is most looking forward to, he said 'everything! I remember being in London during the 2012 Olympics, and although I wasn't attending any events, there was a real buzz around the City. To be part of something similar is really exciting. And having recently visited the Smithfield site as part of the training programme, I just can't wait to get going. I'm also fortunate enough to have got tickets for some of the events taking place when I'm not working, so I'm also looking forward to spectating.'

The Opening Ceremony for the Commonwealth Games is on Thursday 28th July, and John's first volunteer shift is on Saturday 30th July. John will be away from the it'seeze Horsham office for the week commencing 1st August. He will be still be in contact with clients when not working on a shift, and it'seeze Horsham customers will of course be able to contact the national it'seeze support team if they need any assistance while John is unavailable.

We wish John well in his role, and we also hope the Commonwealth Games is a great success.
