Once you are clear about which problems your company solves, you need to make it easy for people to find your solution.
It is surprising how many websites are cluttered and confusing, making it impossible to find the information you are looking for. If your site is like this, it won’t take long for your visitors to leave and go looking for one of your competitors' sites.
A clean website with a clear layout that is easy to navigate will help keep visitors on your site and make it easy for them to find out how you can solve their problems.
Clear navigation
Visitors to your website will probably arrive on your home page; but they may not. Regardless of what page someone first visits on your site, it should be easy for them to see what other pages your website offers, and just as easy to move to those pages.
The obvious way for that to happen is via a clear navigation bar. But having links to other pages among the content is also a good way to keep your website visitors on your site and moving through the pages that are of interest to them.
Clear page layout
There is nothing that is more likely to drive people away from your website than a confusing jumble of content.
A page that contains continuous blocks of text without headlines and images to break it up, or content that just looks untidy and disorganised is going to appear daunting when people land on it. And the likelihood is that they won't even bother to make sense of it; they will quickly leave and go in search of a website that is easier to read and understand.
