Connections in Business – A New Website for A New Networking Group

it'seeze Horsham have 2 connections to Connections in Business, the new networking group with meetings in Surrey and West Sussex. As well as creating their new website, it'seeze Horsham are very pleased to be involved with the setting up and running of Connections in Business.
it'seeze Horsham’s John Wright has teamed up with Debbie Beling from Women's Transformation to set up this new networking group.
Debbie and John are both keen networkers ‘’I am a member of BNI and 4Networking and find them really beneficial to my business’’ said John. ‘’like most people, I started networking as a way to gain new customers, but quickly found that networking provided many other benefits to my business. By building relationships with local businesses, I have learnt so much that has benefited it'seeze Horsham. I have also got to know and trust people that I have bought products and services from. BNI and 4Networking have different formats, both of which are really effective. Connections in Business is different again''
It was Debbie’s idea to set up a group that had meetings that allowed each member the opportunity to share a current issue in a supportive environment. It may be a challenge that they are struggling to overcome, or how to make the best of an opportunity that they currently have. Whatever topic they want to discuss, they have the experience and knowledge of other members to tap into. Debbie said ''We trialled the format at one venue for four months, and found it really worked. Sometimes we get so close to our business that we can’t see the answer to a challenge, or how to get the best of an opportunity. When someone who is removed from the issue joins the brainstorming, they often see solutions that were previously not obvious. Because it worked so well, we decided to roll the format out to more meetings.’’
