John Wright, owner of it'seeze websites in Horsham, is going the extra mile to raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley. To be precise, he's going 65.8653 miles, as he takes on the 106km Isle of Wight Challenge along with Dave and Fliss Owen.
John completed the South Coast 100K Challenge in 2016 and the Jurassic Coast 100K Challenge last year, but the Isle of Wight 106K will be the longest and most formidable challenge he has taken on.

John is teaming up with fellow fundraisers Dave and Fliss in a bid to raise £3,000 for St Catherine's. Dave, a St Catherine's Hospice volunteer, and his wife Fliss trekked the Great Wall of China in 2018 in aid of St Catherine's, and were looking for a fresh fund-raising challenge this year.

This will certainly be a challenge, as John, Dave and Fliss join 2,000 adventurers to take on the 106km walk along the island's spectacular southern cliffs, past the Needles and up to historic Cowes for an overnight stop. Day 2 starts at around 6am with a trek to Ventnor and eventually finishing in Chale to end an epic 106km 2-day journey.
It's a daunting challenge, but one that the intrepid trio are happy to take on in order to raise funds for an incredible cause - St Catherine's Hospice in Crawley is a local charity with big ambition. St Catherine's vision is for a world where everyone facing death and bereavement can do so informed, supported, and pain free. Their team of experts are there for people in West Sussex and East Surrey when they need support the most, and they rely on donations to be able to offer their pioneering care.

If you would like to donate and help St Catherine's be there for people when life comes full circle, please do so at our Just Giving page.
